Software QA Engineer (Automated Testing, Microservice Environment)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Engineer with strong experience in automated testing within a microservice environment. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in various programming languages including Node.js, Typescript, Python and SQL.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Develop and execute automated test plans and test cases for microservices applications
• Ensure the quality of software applications, scripts, and tools through automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements to ensure high-quality software
• Investigate and reproduce reported defects to help identify root causes
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to optimize testing efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Expert in automated testing in a microservice environment
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, and Python
• Experience with Gitlab, various Ci/CD services, and SQL
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Cloudformation
• Good understanding of software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: USD $75,000.00-$85,000.00*
*The above range is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
